So in conclusion, our defense and pitching have to be absolutley perfect, or we will lose. Any unearned run will lead to a loss, because our offense isn't scoring many runs lately, save for the Game 3 of the Florida series.

Poor defense can hurt you in any close game, whether it's 8-7 or 2-1. It just so happens some of our worst defensive games have coincided with some of the worst offensive games.
