I think going to a 9 game schedule increases the likelihood for the SEC teams to knock each other off, thus decreasing the likelihood that there will be more than one SEC representative in the new 4 team playoffs...maybe even with a year of parity there won't be an SEC rep in the Playoffs.

The SEC dominance is hated outside of the South and there is much scheming going on to stop it from happening when possible.

Other big conferences are now playing 9 game schedules or soon will be....it's better for college football and the ticket buying public....pretty simple really !
If an SEC team chooses to play 3 scub OCC games, they do so at their own peril...i.e. playoffs/expanded or not, are COMING and SOS WILL mean something !
