Booty went into pro baseball, then later tried to get out of his Marlins contract. In an effort to do so, he enrolled at LSU, then withdrew from school when the Marlins wouldn't let him out. His eligibility clock started then. He was eventually let out of his agreement with the Marlins and enrolled at LSU again, but he did lose a year of eligibility in the meantime.
I'm not imagining that, am I?

Had to start as a Soph. in 99. Lost Fresh. year for enrolling previously.
