This. It's not like teams are beating down the door to sign him. Who wants a mediocre linebacker with a shitty attitude that has a history of spilling inside info to reporters?

It's unethical to publicly call out your former coworkers. I have no respect for the kind of man that thinks that kind of thing is appropriate. You can say what you want in private. Making it public changes everything.

He's a 33 year old OLB who has lost a step and can't contribute on special teams. I think he knows that he's done, and thus doesn't give a frick.

That word doesn't mean what you think it does.

From the Merriam-Webster Dictionary. I'm pretty sure that it does, Mr. Smartass.

And what is immoral about what Shanle did?
He voiced his opinion.
ETA: words have real meanings, not the meanings you want them to have.

Spags was overrated. I don't think people realize the year they won the superbowl with them Tom took over the defensive play calling from spags it was on nfl network nfl films.Plus spags had tons of talent on that team. Other then that he did shitty with the rams. Shanle had one good year with us then he just the rest of the years. I'm glad we got Ryan I see a good defense in our future.

If morality is the good and preservation of the good then a moral action would intend to create some greater good. Shanle bitching about Spags has absolutely no possiblity of doing anything constructive. It is petty, self serving, attention seeking bitching.

Still not immoral.
Unless, of course, you consider your posts whining about Shanle's tweets to be immoral...

As a former coworker with Spags, Shanle more loyalty than I owe either.
More importantly, my posts on some meaningless, anonymous message board are slightly different than Shanle's tweet to the general public. My posts will probably be viewed by a few dozen people at most. It is practically private conversation, and it has no effect on anything. Shanle's public cry has slightly more significant implications.
If I honestly thought that what I posted here would be given wide release then you better believe that I would give it better thought than I usually do. I would certainly talk about Fay Shells, skeeting, and fapping a lot less than I currently do.

I agree with this, but Shanle is a loudmouth TPOS

Word of advise, kiddo:
If you take yourself too seriously, no one else will.
Right now no one is taking you very seriously. You may want to remedy that.

Shanle blocked me on Twitter because I told him if he tackled as much as he tweeted, he'd be a hall of famer.
he got mad and said cross things to me.

Maybe I expressed myself poorly, but the point is that I don't take what is said on this site seriously. That being the difference between my posts on here and shanle's twitter stuff.

My point is that your use of the terms "unethical" and "immoral" in reference to a guy tweeting his opinion are laughable.
Now could you argue that it's stupid? Sure. Unprofessional? Certainly. But telling your boss he's an a-hole is also unprofessional, and no sane person would call that "unethical".

your ethical views, while they may be shared by others, and still your views. and that's fine, until you start pushing your views on everyone else, and holding others to what you think.
not saying you were or weren't, was just saying.

Public figures public statements are held to a greater standard than normal people's private statements. While it is not an ethical breach on the same level as Enron, it was still a fundamentally wrong move. It is similar to trying to hurt your former boss' business because you personally disliked him. It would be better to keep your mouth shut.
And yes, I am aware that my views are my own.
