Grilled pork chops, sausage, red beans and rice, with some good help

Today, I had a little help making supper.
I started a pot of red beans this morning, and lil Dawg helped me finish them. He added the sausage to them and stirred it in, then showed me how they were doing.

Then he decided they needed more heat. He picked out the bottle of Cajun Sunshine off the back of the stove, and added some to the pot

He stirred them well and we put the lid back on to simmer.
In a little while we lit the grill, and he saw to it the sausage didn't burn and the pork chops were done through

We had a good time getting supper ready tonight.
Lil Dawg is going to be cooking me supper before long

Love it! He's a cutie! Food looks good, too.

So sweet! Does he like watching cooking shows?

And shortly after he begins cooking for you, he can start telling you what you're doing wrong.
Looks good and a good way to spend the afteroon with your son.

Good to see he is getting trained so young to put on his game day face.

That's cool. The days go by WAY too fast. Anything you can do with your kids is previous. Enjoy it!
