Lots of smoke that Griffin/Jordan (bffs) dont like playing with Paul and vice versa
Simers at the LA Times wrote about it a month ago and Simmons mentioned it recently too.

I've heard and read about the same thing and sources. The conventional wisdom among many is that this team had advance deep into the playoffs to make it all worthwhile to Paul.
I could only imagine Paul returning to N.O. if he saw some other huge moves being made here, and Monty, Dell and Benson himself gave him some sort of sales job. Nice thought, but I'd be shocked if it happened.

I'm not doubting you or saying this isn't true but I just can't believe that this is true. Like screw that I hate playing with the best PG that makes me better. So weird
