Is it possible that it's all a big act? He knows he has plenty of fans who identify with him and that whole reject image.. It sells and he's made more money than all of us combined, so why not play it out to the max right?

it's not only possible it's pretty much a fact and he will even admit as much.
i mean he really was one of those kids himself and from what i can tell he looks at himself as an "artist" in a very general sense but i don't think there's any question at all it's an act.
