Grey Matter and Madrigal are connected, like a subsidiary type of connection.

smartass has had a theory for a long time now that Elliot and Gretchen used Walt's crystal formation theories to get super seed funding, possibly/likely from the German conglomerate Madrigal.

Out of that relationship a connection was made somewhere down the line in Madrigal's darker elements and the processes that Walt developed in a lab years and years ago became one of the basis for large scale crystal meth production ie Mexican/European super labs and then on to Gus's use of the Madrigal network of supply and legitimate cover businesses.


Personally I think if his theory has any teeth, then Elliot will likely recognize the crystal structures/quality of Walt's blue and start putting 2 and 2 together and create some problems that might cause Walt need to have a .50 cal machine gun to get a little more sweet revenge.

I don't know, I'm keeping any expectations off the table and will just geek out every week til it's over.
