bought a jar from a lady in pineville that makes her own jams and jellies. always heard ppl rave about it but have never tried it myself. what do you use it on? toast? what else? i love toast and jam. grew up on that shite. going to give it a try in the morning.

Use it anywhere you would use any other jelly. Biscuits are da bomb.

It's the best. Mayhaw pepper jelly is the bomb, too.
Put a little butter on a hot biscuit. Add the mayhaw, put the top of that biscuit back on and enjoy heaven on a biscuit.
I've tasted some that's better than others, though. Hope you got a good batch. Not everyone can make it well.

Had mayhaw jelly on a biscuit at least once a week as a kid. Love the stuff and haven't had it in years.

Give me a few years and I will be making my own. Just planted three trees.

I've given Pleasant Acres for corporate gifts before. Good stuff. I thought they'd gone out of business or shut down a while back. Must be back.
Their mayhaw pepper jelly is good.

Used to have it all the time as a kid in Cane River Country. Mild flavor but I liked it a lot because people would always bring home made to school.

So.Damn.Good! I work in a town that throws a mayhaw festival. Apparently, they were the first to start making jelly with it over here but it could just be their random claim to fame. Either way, the stuff they make over here is insanely good. Highly recommend ordering some.

From where do you order mayhaw jelly?

Just finished a jar of my favorite blackberry butter but can't order more because the people who sell it in Virginia are Amish.
