man.... wish I had a place the do some bird hunting. When we go to the fields that fricker points on dove and other birds feeding all the time. But, I don't so we are going to do some duck hunting! He is responding well to the retrieving. He can be a shite head, but he is hard not to like. 
and just to check.... they might be fricking crazy, but don't have the overall endurance of the GSP?

Same here with my GSP's. They took really quick to water retrieving, but they get bored with fetching dummies. They figured out if they just wait long enough the dummy will float to the shore. Real birds are the only way to keep them interested.
This guy has some penned raised.
