they are one of my favorite bands. Their self-titled album is one of the best from the 90's IMO

Definitely not what I was into in the 90's, but... "step back from the ledge my friend song" was a guilty pleasure...

That whole first album was a guilty pleasure for me. Motorcycle Drive By, God of Wine... And all of the pop songs. It was a good album.

I liked them.
"How's it gonna be" is just a great pop song. And "I want you" is both an underrated track, and a staple on any panty-dropper playlist I've ever put together.
What happened to them?

I thought Semi-Charmed Life was one of the coolest songs I ever heard to that point....very catchy.

They're still playing (only Jenkins and the drummer remain from the original lineup). An acoustic version of a new song called Shipboard Cook just leaked and its fantastic.

Almost did this thread last night. Very cool.
Wounded and Motorcycle Drive-by are two of the best songs of all time on my playlist. Saw them in Charleston last year and it freakin rocked. Big ups to jenkins and the band.

Bands like these are what made the 90's so muchbetter than 2000's.
And are why I love bands like Neon Trees and Fun. making a dent in today's young generation.
Whether you liked it or not it is a BAND. Writing and playing their own music, and hopefully inspiring young people to pick up an instrument instead of just sing and dance.

I agree. But Fun. is just getting warmed up. We'll hear more from them, and it could be quite awesome.
