Even though his body type doesn't fit, I see Ware as a third down back because he has above average pass protection ability and good hands out of the back field.

Yes.

He is a complete back. The only thing he really lacks is elite speed.

And, the way he runs the football is very reminiscent of Lynch.

I'd just like to see Ware run to daylight more. He is the only LSU running back that I've ever wished would be a little less physical, or maybe more precisely, pick and choose his battles with the defense. Instead of trying to take on the defense full bore all the time with these violent collisions, I'd like to see him avoid that flush hit from the defense more often, utilizing more of his skill set.

When he got drafted, Bill Polian was saying Spencer doesn't have any moves, and is strictly a north-south runner. That's not true. He's got a nice spin move and a little shake, but IMO, he got overly concerned with punishing the defense at times, while at LSU.
