The SS isn't necessary, but it makes driving much better at highway speeds in Louisiana. A lot of people run without them, a lot of people run without swaybar links as well.
I don't use either.
OP, did you put a lift kit on your grand Cherokee? If so, what kind? When was the last time you had the tires balance? Any flats on your tires? When running bigger tires, you need to have them balance every 15K and some time early then that if you are offroading.

Rubicon axles, but not a rubicon.

Once this rain passes I'm gonna get up under there and at least tighten the tie rod ends for a temporary fix until I get it to the shop.
Make sure to tighten the trackbar as well. Everything I read is that this is the consistent culprit no matter the make/model.

As I post at first. Track bars are 75% the problem.
OP, when you get home swap tires around. If you been driving it for long with that problem, I'm sure your tires are cupped which adds to your problem.

Tires are fine. Got them rotated and balanced about 6k miles ago and they look good.

Just get rid of that POS! Sick of it

Yeah, 4WHLN can attest that I have done a ton of work tracking it down and trying every solution.

Better check them again. 6K with your problem screwed those front tires.

yup, usually that or ball joints.
The bolts are too small or the hole gets ovaled from not being tight enough

You could have sockets that are opened up on your upper/lower control arms where the joint used to go. Rubber bushings could be in need of replacement. Are you sure you got the correct part numbers? Did you get a new pitman arm with the lift?
My guess is the angle between the track bar and drag link if those others were all done
Eta: waiting for pics......

He never said if he used a lift kit.

3.5" RK Max Travel Plus Kit with 3-linked rear.
Sorry the pics had bad sunlight happening. If you can't see what you want let me know and I can grab some more with better lighting once the sun goes down.
I know you are thinking bent tierod, but the toe-in is still good. However, that is what is leading me to want to upgrade tierods, and the other tie rod is straight as an arrow.

Man, that looks so nice and clean. My steering stuff looks like garbage.

Well, it is a garage queen for right now, it sees its occasional mall curb.

is your drag limk all bent up as well?
Is the drag link parallel to the track bar?
How are the joints on the control arms? tight? they should be hard to rotate with just your fingers
unit bearings still okay?

Just removed this POS. it's completely shot and wasn't doing anything. Gonna order a new one this week. Tightened up my tie rod ends, and while it helped a little bit, there's still significant movement. We'll see what happens.
