Honestly, who does this?

He probably wants a trophy to prove that he can win at Chelsea. I mean, his whole regime was doomed from the start. The decision to choose Benetiz rests solely on Abramovich though.

Double Kige.

The thing I find funniest about it all is whenever the manager situation comes up I don't here a peep about Roman and his idiotic choice to bring the guy in in the first place (replacing a legend too). RA is just as much to blame as Rafa is for any complaints they have.

Why Chelsea fans can't see this, I don't understand.

Every Chelsea fan on here, and in the world, has criticized Roman for bringing Benitez in from the very start.

They have, but I think its too often conveniently glossed over to place 100% of the blame on Rafa.

Roman's poor decision back in November doesn't excuse things like what Benitez did on Sunday that some Joe Blow U-8 Upward girls coach would know better than to do.

Fwiw we always blame roman for it. You all just don't pay attention.

Sunday, perfect example...
One goal lead, trying to kill of the game. Any half wit knows the best way to see out a game is to keep the ball away from the other team. What does Rafa do? He takes out our three best possession midfielders. What happens? We can't hold the ball for any amount of time and eventually leads to an equalizer. And the fact he is probably doing it to rest them for a meaningless Europa game on Thursday makes it all the more maddening. He's truly the wors
Why the frick should Rafa give a shite about finishing in the top 4? Its not like they're bringing him back next year

No I pay attention. You don't blame him enough. But that's just my opinion, and is a silly thing to argue over. The bottom line is that they're both at fault, and everyone recognizes that.

He's basically said as much at one point this season in a post game presser. The fans certainly have pushed him in the other direction since day one. If I were him I'd look at it as an opportunity for one massive troll job, which it appears is exactly what he's thinking right now.
And its awesome.

I don't blame him wanting to push for a trophy too (I know it's not a huge trophy, but still a big one if he can win it).

I wouldn't argue that.

So now you are both insinuating that he is purposefully sabotaging the team but at the same time don't understand why Chelsea fans hate him?

Never did either one of these.
Probably any coach in his position would be doing the same exact thing.

Rafa knows exactly what he's doing... He was never going to be permanent manager... Silverware pads his CV, not a 3rd-4th place finish...
It's brilliant if you ask me, get a new job out of the deal and kick the fan base you always hated on the way out...

Oh, I agree... But following the tactics Randall explained above, it sounds like exactly what he's doing...
I know CFC fans hate him and y'all have to know he hates them..
