My first LSU games were as an usher from Boy Scout Troop 33 of White Castle. That was in 1947. Graduated in January 1961 after doing a tour of duty in the Navy.

For me it was at the 1968 Sugar Bowl...Mom is from Louisiana, her brother, my dad and I (I was 11) drove from the San Francisco Bay Area to New Orleans for the game...From that game on my life has been God-Family-LSU...Unfortunately I never attended LSU (or any other college), but have attended at least one LSU game 39 of the 44 years since I went to that first game (I have always lived in the SF Bay Area)...
Have passed it on to my children..They have attended Sacramento State, Sonoma State and San Jose State....Games attended by them at those schools=0 Combined games attended by the 3 of them at LSU=11
