Fowler has good speed, 12 steals thrown out 5 times last year. Heyward was caught 8 times with 21 steals, so pretty wash right there

Fowler already has 6 bombs, Heyward has 2

drive in plenty with a higher average.
Fowler strikes out too much to have a high average.

Heyward is always an overrated name and this shitty start by him fits the bill, good riddance.
He's 23 years old and had shitty months last year.
quote:
Fowler is Top 25 right now overall in fantasy.
April. fricking. 17.

No, I laughed at you saying crowning them as the best offense in the NL after 2 weeks.
Well that still isn't going to save your arse because they led multiple categories last year as well, without Tulo.
Rockies led the NL in hits, 2nd in doubles, 2nd in triples, 1st in total bases, 1st in average, 2nd in OBP, 2nd in SLG, 1st in OPS.
Again, without Tulo.

He K's 35+ less than Heyward and hit .300 last year in 143 games.

3 pages of fun, apparently.
Always good to get opinions one way or the other.

4th year of this league among friends, $50 a team, yearly tradition, etc.
No thanks, prefer 12 max for any league.

You are severely overrating Fowler's power.

What place is the guy in who got Bruce and Heyward?
It will be interesting to watch his ascension in the coming months.

So what? The point is that Fowler is unlikely to have a high average. He may hit a couple points higher than Heyward, but he's not going to give you more power and he probably won't even steal more bases.
And then there's the 30 HRs and 90 RBIs you tossed away.

Possibly, could be a freak start to the year with his 6 bombs, I just think with that lineup as strong as it is finally healthy and in Coors, he'll have 20+ bombs towards 25 and hit around .300 like last season with 15 steals and 80+ runs scored.
I'll take that at utility all day because he's never starting over JUP, Harper, or Holliday.

You play in a points league?

Couple points? .300 =/= .269 to you?
I think you underestimate Coors and that lineup healthy.

So you do play in a Points league?
I figured so once you brought K's into this discussion and wanted a "top pitcher"
You still overpaid, though.

You're terrible at analyzing statistics, which probably why you suck at fantasy baseball.

Yeah, K's, OPS, average, etc.
I only had one real pitcher, CC, and Homer Bailey is decent. Other than that just free agent pick ups like Shelby Miller, Hisashi Iwakuma, Pettite, Jaime Garcia, and Dempster.

Just stop, you said this same shite last night about basketball and then I posted my leagues results about winning the league and you disappeared.
Already won 2 of the last 3 years in baseball and lost in the finals the other year. I dominate fantasy baseball.
