Jay Bruce + Jason Heyward for Wainwright + Starling Marte

I proposed this deal, and it was accepting.
Did I just frick up?
I needed another high end SP, my OF post trade is now Justin Upton, Bryce Harper, Matt Holliday, and Dexter Fowler so I feel like I'm just fine and gave up quite a bit to get Waino.
But as a Cards fan I think Waino will be back in the Top 5 NL Cy Young race this year from what I've seen so far.
Did I just frick up?

Well I hate Heyward, and my OF is fricking loaded so I didn't really care.
I did pick up Starling Marte with the empty roster spot.
I offered Jeter+Pettitte, declined, offered Heyward+Pettite, decline.
Said frick it.

I can only hope this is non-keeper, so you only have to live with this horrendous mistake for one season. Even if wainwright is the best pitcher in baseball this year, you still fricked up. You could have offered Bruce for wainwright straight up. That would have been reasonable in a non-keeper.

If my OF sucked or this hurt my starting lineup I wouldn't have done it.
But both players are on my bench and I got an ace without effecting my starters, and Marte adds bench depth about as well as either of those guys right now.

I still don't understand why they are bench players. You said you are starting dexter fowler, right? Bruce and j hey will out produce him.
