There is no shame in an honest days labor. A job is a job and Taco Bell seems to have done a good thing by innovating to the point that they needed to add so many "team members."

If I had to guess, for many of those 15000, it's the first job they've ever held, as are many fast food jobs. These people are now in the workforce and learning to be productive, employable people. Regardless of whether you like the product or not, this is a good thing.

There is a shame in working and yet not being able to pay your bills.

If we really want to do something, how about instead of taco hell, we spend our money with people who pay their employees to earn a living they can live on rather than investing in the "deal"?

I can't see anyone that is really winning here, besides maybe Taco Bell as a company.
