'These' plastic compacts feel really nice, what are you worried about? My P2000 is a compact but outside of barrel length it's made for 'man hands' for sure. The grips are adjustable as well, so can make it real fat if you want.

ETA: Holy shite that 9c is small as frick. Nevermind what I said above. That looks like a subcompact to me. A compact of a compact.
