Perry Jones and Sullinger's injury potential dropped them to the 20s and both guys were considered top 3 picks at points in their college careers. It's not like GMs actively ignore injuries, it's a risk calculation and it sounds like most GMs would be willing to bet their jobs on the fact that Noel knees won't keep him from reaching his potential.

Let's be honest. Sullinger's drop also had to do with being 6'6" while Perry Jones' game was seriously questioned before the draft.
