why not build a garden box?

my little brother just built a big one for his backyard in BR. nothing but treated 2"x6"s framed. fill with soil.

i think his is 6'x20'. planting string beans, tomatoes, peas, cucumbers, and some herbs.

not enough garden to live off of, but enough to where he has fresh vegetables awaiting him in his backyard.

he doesn't have kids, but i bet your kids would learn a great deal from it.

That's the plan. I just have to get it off the ground. Lots of deer and rabbits come thru my yard at night. Have to raise it and surround it with chicken wire or something. Your brother looks to have about what id want. Maybe some peppers tossed in. Red, green, jalepeno. My uncle made some kickass jalepeno cheese grits with some fresh peppers he had grown in his garden.

Might have to get in touch with fool for some gardening tips when I finally get off my arse and build it
