Why do baseball managers wear uniforms?

I admit I don't know much about baseball but I just think it would be weird to see Phil Jackson in a Lakers uniform or Bill Belichick in a Patriots uniform.

Baseball fans are defensive, just asking a question. I don't dislike baseball, I just don't follow it

My bad. I thought you was being sarcastic or trying to make fun of baseball. We have NBA and NFL fans doing that every time baseball season starts
