Remember, the Astros were at their best when you had guys like Biggio, Bagwell, Berkman, Oswalt, etc coming up through the farm system.

Yep, I think that we'll be back to that soon, I hope.

And that all climaxed by getting swept in the World Series. The Astros just aren't a very good franchise. With the ownership unwilling to spend money, I don't see a reason to be optimistic for the future. Sure, you can say they are "rebuilding". But they have been doing that since 2006. At what point do you have to call "rebuilding" just being frugal.
