Saban is as dirty as they come, and now he in the perfect place to get away with it. Little prick.

If there is one thing that life has taught me, it's that life isn't fair. In any profession, those that cheat, lie, and unethically climb their way up the ladder do not always get caught. In most cases, the guy that does everything by the book, finishes last.

His system is so sound and he is so respected that he will never be caught. That man has every nook and cranny covered. It's amazing the draw and clout he has.

I know all schools are dirty to some extent, but I would absolutely love to know what really goes on and to what extent.
The only story that I can relate very second hand. A guy I used to work with was friends with Tyrus Thomas. I know for a fact he was really friends with him because Tyrus' mom came to work to talk to him before. He told me that after Tyrus phenomenal season and everyone was expecting him to go pro, LSU offered him $500,000 if he'd stay for one more year. Obviously, he turned it down. Again, no idea how true that was but its the closest I've been to any situation like that.
Oh, and we've all seen certain players driving bad arse cars while in school, so that also makes you wonder.
Anyone else have any stories to share?

During the Saban years a Reveille writer went to the parking lot of a bunch of players' apartment complex and wrote down vin numbers on some of the cars. ALL vin numbers traced back to a Miami Auto Dealership. For some reason, the story never got printed.
