Unfortunately in 285/65/18 there are no C/D load tires. They are all load E. I guess its a weird size, I am going to go down to a 275/65.....are your tires load D?

So Procomp did not affect ride quality at all?

Yeah mine are D rated. And even thought they're only an inch taller and wider they killed my gas mileage - down about 2 MPG highway. I had the speedometer re-calibrated at the dealer for $50 and I've double checked it with GPS.

No, not that I can tell. I had it done a week after I bought the car so I don't remember much, but it rides just fine.
