True, I'm just trying to clear up the fact that people think a GW can show up and demand to start looking through their truck/house when in most cases they can't.

Just like if you're walking through the woods and a GW stops you asks for your hunting license. If you never told him you were hunting, then he can't prove that you were. You could be on your way to/from shooting cans or trees for all he knows.
