You can pay for parking outside Turner Field.
I'm no expert, but I think the blue lot is about $15 or $20 bucks and its an easy walk.

BJ Upton was better than Michael Bourn offensively last season using WAR.
Upton had a 3.4 oWAR and Bourn had a 3.2 oWAR.
He was slightly better at offense last year, and ordinarily I'd prolly take BJ Upton THE HITTER over bourn, but not in a braves lineup that already has uggla, mccann, etc. and lacks a leadoff guy. I'm surprised the braves went after BJ upton knowing this.

Bourn is hardly the poster-boy for the high OBP, low-strikeout rate type team you seem to favor.
definitely not the worst, either. But upton certainly fits that mold.
FWIW I don't necessarily prefer high-obp/low strikeout guys w/o power. I just don't advocate building an entire lineup without anyone like that.
I have always hated BJ Upton though. If he finds a way to live up to his potential, he'd be a monster and he would be an amazing signing for the braves...

I understand what you're saying, but Prado and Chipper were the key losses when it comes to high OBP, low-strikeout, high average guys, not Bourn.
And the Braves couldn't really do anything about losing Chipper or Prado. Chipper retired and the Braves had to give up Prado to get J. Upton.

All those lots are permit only tomorrow. I was in the same position as DGD earlier today, but I got my hands on a parking pass earlier this afternoon.
Only thing I can think of is buying a parking pass off StubHub, but I'm pretty sure you have to buy tickets too.

Well Bourn is an average OBP, high strikeout guy with no power.
Heyward is probably going to be around .275/.350/.500 with 25 and 25 at worst. While being among the top right fielders defensively. And that might not even be the best numbers in the lineup. I'll take that

Slip the guy in orange lot $20. You're welcome and enjoy the game. Money talks bro!

Let's not forget how young Freeman is and how much potential he has. He struggled with injuries and an eye problem last year and still did decent.
I wouldn't be surprised to see him hit .280+ with 30+ HRs this year.
The sabremetric fanboys love to totally trash a player who hits HRs and would also think Ben Zobrist is the best player on the earth because of his WAR.
Also, it seems some sabretards love to forget the fact that signing a speedy/low OBP CF in Bourn to another huge contract when he's aging goes against commons sense. Bourn's best tool is his speed, which will diminish exponentially as he ages. BJ still has a good arm and some power to bring to the table when his speed starts to diminish.
I feel like people have forgotten that Sabremetrics are a TOOL, not a way of life. You still gotta have common sense.
Also, looking at the teams that win the WS and consistently win, they have GREAT pitching or GREAT hitting or both. I think Defense is way overrated in the grand scheme of things. Sabremetrics and WAR always seem to overvalue defense.

Hope the Braves and Nats overlook the old Phils..
Utley and Howard are back healthy, Michael Young now aboard, Revere, the pen/set-up/8th inning shored up with Adams, Dom coming of age all sudden, Galvis blossoming, and if Chooch off suspension, or Delmon Young comes back healthy, and contribute some..
Rallied to an 81-81 2012 finish from injured 47–58 start, gotta do better than 5-10 vs AL in Interleague, and 2012's 6-12 vs Atlanta.

Worst case scenario you can also take the MARTA shuttle (unless you're tailgating, so bribery may help).
