I've been playing a good deal of AP/off tank Cho recently. First item back I get needlessly large rod, and, at that point, if I hit one rupture, then I think I can kill burst down almost any champ in the game. I don't know how viable he is at this point, but nom noming people is fun as shite.

Bjergsen comes back and destroys Mancloud. Sloppy midgame but that's expected after a break and it being the first game with Bjergsen in 3 weeks.

I was looking at the new patch notes, and it kinda looks like they are buffing Vi. They improved here AD ratios and barely nerfed her ult.

Been watching the OGN LoL Masters this weekend, and I have to say, as much as I love the LCS shout casters, these guys doing the Masters seem much better.
Also it's nice to see different champs picked other than the 12 that get picked every single time in LCS

It is a nerf. Look at it like this. Vi is really strong ganker/base ability damages. Previously you could build elder lizard + Black Cleaver, then tank and still do lots of damage.
Now, her base damages are lower, but slightly higher scaling on abilities. This is trying to get people to either build damage, or full tank.

How is teambuilder?
I saw on Reddit today that it is "here to stay". We'll have to wait and see on if that is permanently true.
In theory, it should elminate the issues with instalocks or not getting the role/roles that you want to play. I'm hoping it's what normals was supposed to be.

I played two games and got two trolls picks. First one was a jinx jungle who fed, but we won. Second was a tank lux top and we got destroyed. don't know if I like it.

The initiator of the game has the option to approve roles/champs allowed into the team, or at least they did during the trial run. That being so, Jinx jungles could be prevented.

This, plus you have the option of leaving before the games starts, without penalty I believe.
Create your own game, and wait for it to fill up. No reason to have troll picks.
Teambuilder is an awesome tool.
ETA: I will say this though, teambuilder is fricking shitty at matchmaking. Everytime I play, we either blow the other team away or we get outscored in kills 4-1.
Oh you're silver V? We're gonna put you with some Bronze IV's and then make your team play against Silver I & II's with a Gold mixed in there...

Teambuilder was good, besides the 10 minute wait our team had for a jungler earlier. That was kinda ridiculous.
I bought Nidalee with IP points yesterday and tried her out for the first time today. Went 11/3/8 in a pretty solid victory against a Yasuo in mid lane. Having mostly played Ahri mid, I found it a lot harder to farm pre-6 and almost fell too far behind. But dat spear damage and cougar form doe...

Teambuilder was good,
But I read that the other aspect of teambuilder was to allow you to play troll picks if your team would want some crazy setups.... like adc/support mid.
As long as you go captain, it should be fine I guess.
quote:That's just Nid. Once you hit your first power spike, you can wave clear quickly in Cougar. But you are relegated to a spear chunker. If you get a few spear hits, you can single handedly break a seige, win the team fight, etc.

With your speed boost in cougar, look to roam more often. It's so easy to assassinate people when your spear chunks ADC's for half their health.

And don't ignore her passive. She gets a movement speed boost when running through bushes. This only further enhances her mobility advantage.
A lot of people also don't pay attention to the attack speed boost you get when you use your heal (E). Definitely, more potent on AD nid, but doesn't hurt either way.

I used it a lot for taking towers, worked wonders at later levels when it would proc lich bane's passive

Definitely, especially with AD Nid, you are a siege beasting split pusher.
Maul the wave with your cougar form and siege the turret with your normal form and attack speed buff.
Her traps make half decent "wards" on the fly if you're desperate as well.
ETA: The Ziggs support is REAL!!

Just read a thread on riot's direction for junglers the 2nd half of S4.
Although they are trying to create more opportunity for jungle to carry, they don't want hard early snowballs. They're pretty up-front about wanting a 15-20 min leaning phase and even adjusted outer turrets to prevent the 2v1 matchups to push down turrets super early.
With the vi, Elise, and early jungle pressure nerfs, they're wanting the jungler to have less of an impact during the laning phase.
This should help make more junglers viable in the current meta.
Late game hyper-carries may see a re-emergence because they won't be penalized for a weak early game.
Jax, tryndamere, etc should have enough time to get fed and force teams to choose a strategy: early jungle pressure on lanes or passive laning with late game damage spike.
Thoughts?

This has always been my gameplan as a bot laner. Granted I like ADC's like Trist.
I can't comment on the junglers, as I never play that role.
I am thoroughly enjoying Ziggs support though. So much fun to play and I can protect my ADC suprisingly well with his kit.
