They were 50 after fees on the day of event. It was a very fun experience

I should have gone. The atmosphere looked great but heading to Brazil in a few days and didn’t want to risk getting the flu.
Glad it was a great time!

Doublelift coming out of retirement, maybe I should too.
However, rumors floating around that Riot is ditching all of its broadcast talent.

thread is as dead as the LCS but things are popping off right now.
CLG sold their spot, TSM is leaving at the end of this split and the LCS/teams decided they dont want to be the NBA to the NACL's WNBA so the players are on strike 3 days before the start of the season. pretty amazing stuff considering the players are vastly overpaid as it is and pretty much every org is bailing or trying to bail out. some impressively weak negotiation leverage there for the players.
"hey we know we are overpaid and you are losing money and we routinely gate keep younger players from moving up to the LCS but give us more monies!"
of course reddit is eating this up because forcing orgs to pay 75k a year per NACL player and expenses on top of that is preftecly normal to 15 yr olds who have no money but are great at spending other peoples money.

Any bronzies or silvers looking for someone to play with hit me up. StorminNormanNn
Think I'm Silver 4 now, mainly play supp jungle. Have a few buddies that play sporadically, but would love to get in on some flex if we had enough people.

quote:It's also easily the least stressful region to play in. These dudes don't do anywhere near the work of Korean or Chinese teams and it shows on the rift. The sooner the LCS goes up in flames the better. Just a bunch of dumbass kids about to get a hefty reality check.

Franchising was a gargantuan mistake (like most said when it happened) and those player salaries were never going to hold. Pro League was oversold big time to the investors and that bubble popping is gonna be a wakeup call to a lot of people that thought they were on easy street.
