The RX 6800 and 6800 XT are legitimate competition for the RTX 30 series cards in rasterization performance and has massively improved power efficiency as compared to previous AMD products.
16 VRAM was a waste. They should've gone for 8 GB.
Nvidia still has a massive, commanding lead in RT performance. AMD really needs close the gap because as the industry transitions more and more to RT the justifications to run rasterization benchmarks become fewer and fewer.
DLSS is still a killer feature that AMD currently can't match and, like with RT performance, they really need to make up some ground here.
Compares the 6800 and XT to the Vega 56 and 64. Gets "Vega 56 vibes" from 6800. Says this is more of a "watch this space" release, not a "Ryzen moment".
