RAM issues are a nightmare. Sometimes it is the mobo slots, so hard to test unless you have a spare mobo.

Anyone surprised at some of the backlash the B550 boards are getting for being "too expensive"? Not sure what some people were expecting after seeing X570 come out with the cheapest boards being just under $200 at launch. They werent going to launch B550 at B450 current pricing obviously, no sub $90 boards (that I've seen). PCI gen4 and the much better built VRMs alone simply cost more money than your comparable B450 board.
Think they are still a great choice compared to X570, the most interesting part will be seeing B550 boards around $200 vs. X570 boards around $200.
I picked up my Gigabyte X570 Aorus Elite for $200 (actually $150 since I got $50 off at microcenter bundled with zen 2 purchase ) but want to see how the B550 version stacks up at just $160 but also the $180 B550 Gigabyte Aorus Pro which has a 6 layer PCB (Elite only has 4 layer).
