Not necessarily. Windows allocates more RAM than it needs for background processes. If you only had 8GB, Windows would use less system memory and/or likely allocate more pagefile space for background processes (and you wouldn't notice a difference because they're not actively used programs).

How long does it usually take the overseas monitors to get here, it says it's shipped but delivery any time between now and January?
