The 7950x3D has two processor dies with 8 cores on each die. While each die has vcache, the extra 3D vcache is only on one of the die. So one die with 8 cores has access to the normal amount of vcache while another die with 8 cores has access to the normal vcache plus the extra 3D cache.

So only one die has 3d vcache. Got it. You kinda have me nerding out on this stuff now. lol.
ETA: It may not be possible, but would AMD consider adding 3d vcache to both die in the future?
