opened up my laptopearlier just to get a look, pleasantly suprised that my hdd was seagate and not some off brand pos.
Yeah
Hitachi, Toshiba and Samsung are popular HDDs in Windows machines.
Maybe you trust Samsung with RAM based storage but leave HDDs to WD and SeaGate.

I had been meaning to ask you what camera you used since your pictures always look so clean.

If anyone is looking for a cheap, nice looking desktop sound bar, I just bought this for like $27 with 1-day shipping. The color is a little lighter than in the pic. I expected it to be more like the color of my desk
Sorry for the shitty quality pic. The nexus 4 camera is bad enough as it is, so it doesn't help that I've been drinking

You have a problem
Why's that??? Neither of my monitors have speakers, so I wanted a speaker bar that'll fit under the front center monitor. If I would have gone with 2.1 or something like that, the speakers would have gone behind my side monitor and awkwardly next to my source 530.

How is the quality though?
Actually like the look.

For stereo speakers, they're pretty loud and will be nice to use while I'm watching netflix and youtube videos while in bed or not wanting to wear headphones.

That's why I bought it. It's just a bit over 16.75" long, so it sits nicely centered under a 24" monitor. I really like the volume adjustment. it's much easier to deal with a nob then doing it through windows. With my FiiO e7 hooked up to my headphones and my new speakers, I leave my PC sound on full blast and leave all control up to my amp and speakers volume control

Blue snowball mic, yay or nay? I've been looking into upgrading my mic for a little while, but nows the time I want to do it.

I've been using a Yeti Blue for a couple of years now, so if the snowball is anywhere near that, I'd recommend it.

I was going to say you have a drinking problem but I went to sleep instead

That's the pricing I was hoping for. That "leaked" $729 pricing was disappointing, so I hope the $549 number is true. I do hope Maxwell is reasonably priced. I really want to be able to justify an NVIDA card for once.
EDIT: The new ipad mini is $400? Why the frick? I've been using an iPad 3rd gen since the month they were released. I'll probably stick with that for a while, along with my jailbroken OS 5.whatever

I have whichever iPad was the first retina one and my iPhone 5. iOS 7 jailbreak should be out soon. CAN'T FREAKING WAIT FOR THAT

I loved my ipad while using at a desk/table/bar counter.. basically in a sitting position. IMO it is just too large for just browsing. If I would purchase another Apple tablet it would be a Mini. The Mini and Nexus 7 form factors seem perfect.
Simply couldnt find a use for it, much rather use our MBP or MBA. IDK, maybe I was doing it wrong?

Yeah, i'm never the one to complain about pricing but this is ridiculous. Should have stayed $349 while no retina dropping to $299 or $259.
With the Nexus 7 having almost the same pixel density for damn near half the price @ $229, it seems ridiculous.
EDT:
new Nexus 7 = 323ppi
iPad Mini Retina 326ppi

Yeah, I was reading about it on OCN
This makes purchasing 2 for CFx easier but i'm afraid i'm down to only 1. We decided yesterday to start extending our back patio and adding an in place propane burning fire pit before winter starts.
That is about to drain me...

That's how it starts, just wait till the day when it isn't "my" money, it is "our" money
