Depends on what you mean by successor. 280x is the equivalently priced/performing card I'm guessing
That's what i meant and that's what the benches show so far.

fricking LOVE it. Super nice monitor. Build quality is really nice. The adjustable height is great and it uses a magnetic slider to keep it in place. Theres not a latch your anything that has to be undone to change it height. just slide it up or down and it stays. Dual action pivot is builtinto the mount so all you have to do is rotate the screen to put it into portrait mode. you dont jave to unscrew anything.
All I read before about the 120+hz monitors was that TN panels have dull colors. I find it to be quite the opposite. Mine is bright and vibrant. Gameplay is soooo smooth at 100+ fps and the people who claim you can't see frames that high are idiots.

I'm throwing my monitors on the wall. I'm hoping the vg248qe doesn't look significantly different than the VS248H-P. They don't look too different in pictures

If I had a little more money i would get a r9 280x and a 1440p monitor. I may start a kickstarter for it

I was just reading about the 280x... gah, I want to upgrade to 1440p, I just don't know if I have the money for it.
If I'm going to upgrade my graphics card again, I will want a new MB.. if I get a new MB, I will want a new processor, if I get a new processor and MB.. I will want to upgrade my RAM, if I upgrade my RAM, why not get more SSD?!?!

this is a slippery slope, and I am ashamed of myself

Hey guys,
I have a question. Is there a program out there that can transfer files between hard drives or maybe even servers? we have 3D models here at work that we try to send from our local computers back to the server. we have to do it manually now and sometimes we forget. is there a program that can do this for us?

Yes.
Are the servers on the same network as the other computers?

I saw that you wanted to learn some programming in your free time. I've been learning some C++ from some videos on the youtubes.
If you're interested, check out the link. His tutorials are pretty good and he breaks down and explains everything pretty thoroughly.

Any benefits to C++ instead of just python?
Posted on 10/10/13 at 1:39 pm to Mr Gardoki
I'm pretty sure c++ is more often used. Python is very basic

Well this is just for general knowledge, not trying to accomplish anything right now
Posted on 10/10/13 at 3:32 pm to Mr Gardoki
Yeah, me too right now but I'm also doing it to get a heads up on the classes I'm going to be taking.
