The other thing no one thinks about is the fact that today's player would also be able to be super physical and mug people without the consequences they have now.
Here's 10 min of Jordan vs Pistons from a 1989 playoff game. How many hard fouls does he even take? 1? Maybe 2?

And LeBron is more upset about the fact that the refs aren't calling the flagrants not about the fact he's getting hit in the face repeatedly
