The real issue is people don't really remember games from 20+ years ago. They remember a few plays, but that's about it. Here's a flagrant on Jordan by the Pistons in 1993. LeBron has that happen to him a lot generally with no flagrant attached. In fact, that foul was far less dangerous than what Taj did last night.

Here's 10 min of Jordan vs Pistons from a 1989 playoff game. How many hard fouls does he even take? 1? Maybe 2?

And LeBron is more upset about the fact that the refs aren't calling the flagrants not about the fact he's getting hit in the face repeatedly

They see the videos from the Bad Boy Pistons and since it's been 20 years, they think they were dishing out those types of fouls every trip down the court.

That stuff rarely happened.

You couldn't touch Jordan in his prime, but don't tell Dukke V (or whatever his name is) that.
