Would you recommend losing all of the coast?

No JimBeam I am not. This is why I think this discussion needs more attention. The more informed I have become on the subject the more I think the diversions will accelerate coastal erosion. Unfortunately, most people buy into the "spend tax dollars hoax".

quote from Ricks "Last night I was invited to the CCA meeting at the Dock in Slidell, and was surprised at the great turnout. I was honored they let me speak and let people know what is going on with the Diversion issues. What amazed me, was that of almost 100 people, only one person was aware of the Master Plan for Coastal Restoration and what it's going to do!! When I informed them of the facts and figures of exactly how much freshwater will be pumped into our beloved saltwater marsh with the scheduled diversion at Braitewaite, you could hear a pin drop!! It was gratifying to have so many come and shake my hand and thank me for what we're doing to get the word out."
