Honestly not sure, but Jones does have his connections to Texas and LSU has a large alumni base in Houston. Lots of positive things said about LSU there.
We can also throw him the bone that he can play with Ben Simmons which means scouts every single game. Lots of positives we can tell him.

Someone get this to Johnny. Another name out there, Antoine Mason, 2nd-best scorer in the NCAA last year behind McDermott. Graduated and has one year of eligibility

I would imagine his % numbers are low due to being on a team that went 7-26 and he was the only player to average in double figures
