I guess you think Mike Alstott is one of the all time great NFL RBs?
In all seriousness, I can't believe you just tried to say a guy whose only role on the team was to come in and gain one yard was the MVP of a national title team.
ETA: The most valuable player on the team had less than 500 yards offense vs. SEC and FSU in 10 games and almost 1/5 of that was against UK.
31 total yards in the SECCG
3 total yards against FSU
29 yards agains So. Car
36 yards against UGA
18 yards against Auburn
40 total yards in the NC
His two standout performances a whopping 29 yard effort against Tenn. and brace yourself.... 71 yards vs. LSU!
Where would Florida have been without this production?! Clearly he led the team to the title in 2006 and was the MVP.

Tebow scored 13 touchdowns on the 2006 Florida team in absolutely crucial situations that won them games. He was not a bit player, he was an essential part of their success. FWIW I do get annoyed with people who pretend he did nothing in 2006... IMO most of those tend to be butt-hurt LSU fans who are just mad about him beating us three of the four years he was there.
