Thanks for clarifying my point
Just trolling you like you troll this board bro
Clapton is a legend, no doubt.
But the deftones put on a better live "show" than Clapton does. Clapton is kind of boring live.

Deftones > Eric Clapton
This is why the music board continues to disappoint.

You know he was Duane Allman and Jimi Hendrix's favorite guitarist, right?
Two guys that have been dead for longer than many posters here have been alive. Yeah, keeping it fresh.

Because it doesn't further validate popular opinions?

I thought it was you but I wasn't sure. I didn't want to go up to some random guy and start calling him Jester. I was over to your right up against the mixing booth.

I like the Deftones, one of the first bands i got into when i was younger.
But Clapton is a living legend, I don't think the Deftones fall into that category. And they never will.

Where were you?? I was on the lookout for that pelicans shirt
I was at about the middle of the stage backed up against the mixing booth. I wasn't sure what you looked like so I couldn't spot you.

tehchampion, I think you were a bit behind me to my left. At least I saw someone with a Pelicans shirt and jacket there.
That was almost definitely me then. I had the jacket unzipped because it got hot in there so the Pelicans shirt was pretty visible.

Also the only non-Beatle to play lead guitar on a Beatles track?
I'm not trying to diminish Clapton as a musician. To these ears he's just completely played out (e.g., if I ever hear Layla again I may punch a baby). Just as an addendum, I am "middle-aged".

How the hell did I not see you?

I think we almost made eye contact a few times. You may not have been able to notice me because of how much the guy in front of me was crowding me.

Fair enough. Unfortunately, this is 2013. shite got stale.

That's fine. But I'd rather go see the deftones over Clapton.

I was in the red jacket (took it off and held it at end of show, I had a dark grey fila t-shirt on) and jeans. little guy right next to jester. he let me stand in front of him

You may have been right in front of me at one point. There was a short guy who I'm pretty sure had a red jacket and I saw him check the TD music board at some point before Periphery came on. I eventually got pushed more over to the right by all the people crowding in.

Well, you certainly are a little guy. I thought I was average height but I could barely see anything from where I was. It must've been brutal for you.
