None of you people who are complaining in this thread have ever heard another baseball announcer.....ever. Hawthorne is better than everyone else.

I used to listen to Hawaii baseball games streaming on the internet because they were on late and I was kind of a night owl. Their announcer might be the best in the business. I know he's pretty highly respected. Just did a great job on the calls. Always a good listen.

Baseball and radio go hand in hand. And if you have to rely on a bitter guy with bad eyesight to tell the game's story, it really makes it tough to listen to.

Que?

The thought that anybody from Louisiana criticizing the way someone else speaks is absurd.

I don't understand the bitter guy comment. He is an LSU fan. Do y'all want someone who is neutral to be the LSU play by play guy?

I don't have any problem knowing what's going on in the game.

The LSU broadcast crew does a fine job covering LSU sports and bringing them to LSU fans.

You're going to love listening to Astros late night games, then.
