Burn all your fuel? WTF? If you're burning all your fuel running out 10 miles I'd suggest a different vessel. If you plan on catching a limit and continuing south, once you cross 10.3 miles you're illegal in state and federal eyes. You can clean and eat a pound of fish on an overnight trip.

I know, right. I burn 36 gal/hr and run from the Jordan River to the rigs southeast of Chandeleur. Last summer on the way back in it was $880 in fuel alone plus oil (twin Yamaha OX66 250s) every time we went. Wish I could trailer my boat to the south tip of the island

Anyway, I do have a galley on board and I am a captain. We'll see how it goes this time around. In Mississippi, we can't start till 6/1 anyways...
