I plan on adding to my pistol collection and have decided to go with glock or SA xd. I already have a 9 and a few. 357 magnums.

I want

9mm
10 mm gonna be a glock
.40 (plan on getting. 357 sig kit too)
.45 acp

I have been looking at the SA Xd, Xd tactical, and Xdm along with glocks.

I want one either the 9 or. 40 to be a subcompact cc.

Which one for cc and which brand. I know there is a love hate relationship on the OB for glocks, 1911's, and kimber's so please refrain from killing each other so to speak.

Thanks.

I held the glock 19 and i really didn't like the way it felt. Ihave held a SA Xdm and liked the feel but whenever i drop $500+ i like to hear peoples experiences and opinions.

On the CC side, I prefer the Springfield. I like the extra safety on the grip. I still carry a Glock for CC on occasion, but 99/100 these days I pick up the SA XDs.

Will Reserve For Springfield.

I have both. Like both. Glock accessorizes for days. Springfield comes with more stuff in the box.

I have both and personally prefer the Glock, but you've answered your own question. Whatever you're most comfortable and confident in is the best choice for you. I've found my XD/M to be as reliable as any of my Glocks (which means 100% reliability).

I have the XDm 4.5 in .40 and the XDs. .40 is my favorite but not for cc. XDs for cc.

Glock wasn't for me. Springfield felt better in my hand.

If it's for a "collection" that doesn't matter. If it's about collecting rather than shooting, I'd get a 1911. Simple reason, the glocks ain't purty. Not bashing them, I have a G19 I love.

Honestly Blocks and Springfields are two different firearms. Some people like the Glock, some don't. Get one that is comfortable in your hand.

If you're wanting to get the .40 and .357 Sig kit, I'd look at the XD since the XDM doesn't have the .357 option. I have an XDM 4.5" .40 and think it's a great gun. For a .45 XDM is a good choice, or the XDS for conceal carry.

Looks like I'm going Springfied now I'm gonna go and see which one i like the feel of.

I have tried an Xd in. 45 and liked it.

I think I'll get a full sized 9mm and a compact 9mm for the wife, and a. 40& .45 full size for myself.

Not all at the same time but i think I'll get the 9's first.
