I'm not sure how the Buffalo Bills name is offensive to anyone other than Buffalos.

they are named after Buffalo Bill(not the creep from Silence of the Lambs) but still not offensive. and this it's talking about mascots.and logos, so it has nothing to do with buffalo bill.

Promotes violence by invoking a time of Westward expansion that encouraged cruelty and social injustice toward the native people. Buffalo Bill himself greatly exploited the native people. The name also was influenced by its founders, and oil tycoon, and through the use of non-renewable energy should be discouraged.
