Would love Seymour at NT.
John Abraham might be a short term answer in the front seven. 10 sacks last year?

Were the numbers ever released for Butler? I don't want to read all of this.
According to WF, it's 3 mil with 1.5 guaranteed.

the Saints took advantage of the veteran minimum benefit when they signed defensive lineman Kenyon Coleman to a one-year deal. He’ll earn $1 million between base salary, but the benefit allows him to count only $620,000 against the salary cap.
The Saints also got backup quarterback Luke McCown as inexpensively as possible. He'll earn $840,000 in base salary (there are no bonuses or incentives in the one-year deal), but the minimum benefit means McCown only will count $555,000 against the salary cap.

Patriots reached agreement on a two-year deal with former Raiders DT Tommy Kelly, as @RapSheet reported.

Citing multiple sources with knowledge of the situation, Profootballtalk.com reports the Bucs are indeed willing to trade the Jets the No. 13 overall pick in exchange for Darrelle Revis.
We could probably kiss Mingo goodbye if that happens.

and jets want moar.... they could even maybe parlay a drop back to acquire shite loads of picks

Wow. If they have the 9th and 13th overall pick, they're definitely taking one of Mingo/Jones.
Or maybe both
Holy shite just think about that

If they make that trade, Id say the go Mingo/Millner at 9 or Jones/Mingo/Rhodes at 13. Depending on who was available.

Man. If I were them I don't know that I wouldn't take a Mingo and a Patterson. Their offense is so bad and they still have Chromartie

Winston saying he's looking for $3-4m/yr if offered a short term deal, but that he's "negotiable." As much as I love The Kracken, you can't convince me that Ivory would have a bigger impact on this team than Winston. I'd hope the Saints are at least putting out feelers on him. With a still strong RT FA group (Winston, Clabo, Smith), if you can get him at 1/yr, $2.5m, I'd rescind Ivory's offer in a second. Shouldn't be difficult finding an extra $500k.
