I never said I wasn't going to switch his meds, actually said I was and was asking for other options bc the shite the vet gives doesn't work.

You are correct on the ivomec dosing, it's 0.1 cc per 10 lbs. You really have to dose the hell out of them for it to bother them, I had two beagles with the red mange, gave each one a half cc everyday for a month, cured it and no side effects. I've had all kinds of dogs on ivomec from beagles to American bulldogs and never had a problem with it. In the end it is a dog that is biting you...may be time to go cootkillah on it.
