THE OHIO STATE PRESIDENT GORDON GEE TO ADDRESS LSU TRANSITION ADVISORY TEAM TUESDAY
The Ohio State University President E. Gordon Gee will address LSU’s Transition Advisory Team Tuesday, March 5, in the Abell Board Room of the Lod Cook Alumni Center. The Transition Advisory Team will meet from 4 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and it will be available by live streaming video. The Transition Advisory team, a 10-member panel tasked with providing information to the LSU Board of Supervisors to facilitate the reshaping of the LSU System, is meeting for the fourth time. The team held its first meeting on Jan. 8, an Immersion Workshop on Feb. 7, and its third meeting on Feb. 19.
Gee is serving his second term as president of Ohio State, joining the university in 2007 after previously serving as president there from 1990 to 1998. As chief executive officer, he oversees Ohio State’s six campuses, 65,000 students, and 48,000 faculty and staff. Gee is widely considered one of the most highly experienced and respected leaders in higher education, having been named by Time Magazine as one of the top 10 university presidents in the country in 2009.
In addition to his service at Ohio State, he led Vanderbilt University from 2001 to 2007, Brown University from 1998-2000, the University of Colorado from 1985 to 1990 and West Virginia University from 1981 to 1985.

Yeah, the man who ceded control of The Ohio State University to the head football coach is a great example of leadership.

Hasn't he made several controversial comments over the years? I seem to recall something about the Little Sisters of the Poor, etc.

My kid went to Vandy while Gee was president there. He is a self-promoting prick. Please boo him ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Iconcheers.gif)

You would be dumb to boo him. I have been in meetings with Gordon. You will greatly enjoy any opportunity to hear him speak. He's also a big sports fan and put Vandy on track to be more competitive in the SEC.

LSU has great potential academically. OSU is a great school to model our academic program after. If LSU keeps moving up academically, I'm all for it. It makes my degree that much more valuable.

Did any of the dumbfricks who were going to boo him have the balls to do it?
