Don't listen to the people that say you are wasting your time and/or you gotta be rich to get tickets. Not true.

I graduated in 2003, the "peak" of LSU football fever, and all I've done is give $100/year since then and I got a call in 2009, lower bowl endzone (I also got 2 pts for doing the collegiate club my junior and senior years at LSU).

Will it take a few years to climb the ladder? Sure, but if you'r patient and continue giving $100 every year you'll eventually get a call. 2014 there are going to be A LOT of calls with all the shuffling going around with the SEZ expansion.

Just be patient, give your yearly donation, and the call will eventually come. If you've ever got an extra $5000 disposable income, feel free to give that and it will certainly shoot you up the rankings, but that is not necessary to eventually secure season tickets. Will it help? Sure, but it's not necessary if you're patient. I recommend giving the $100 per year, moving up slowly, and in the meantime just buy your season tickets on the secondary market every year.

Don't listen to the fools that say you're wasting you're time. Anyone that says that obviously doesn't know WTF they are talking about. I have first-hand experience that your time will come, and my experience has come in a very "LSU-crazy era" as fan interest in LSU the last 10+ years is at historic highs.

And also don't forget that even if it takes a few years to move up (and it feels like you're "wasting" money), you're donating to a program you love anyway, so in that context it makes me feel good.
