7 for cornbread, 14 for cooking. I am a cast iron fiend. I am always on the look out for older cast iron pots and pans at antique stores etc.

As a matter of fact, I burned the gunk off of 2 cast iron pans this eveneing, a 5 inch and a 7 inch, and re-seasoned them.



Older cast iron is WAY better than the new crap Lodge is putting out, a little elbow grease and they will be like new again.

Now that is a good idea for firing off the gunk.
