Has anybody ever been on a paid turkey hunt to Texas? If so which outfitter did you use and was it worth it?

I have once. I forget the name of the guide service, but the owner's name was Dick and well, he was kinda a dick. It was one of the really cheap hunts, like $500 for 3 days, somewhere in NW Texas. I killed birds, my buddy did not. Dick left us alone in his camp house the last night, so we drank all of his beer.

Hunt in south texas. I have a lease to myself between San Antonio and corpus and turkeys are everywhere. Do you have to go to texas? I personally would go to New Mexico or Oklahoma public land for the scenery and something different
